Balloon, Plane ... Something Else? Pilots Spot 'ufo' In Arizona Sky

Arizonans are no strangers to strange sights. In fact, the 48th state is a hotspot for UFO sightings, ranking in the top 6 states on the National UFO Reporting Center.

Nick Pope, a former UFO researcher at the British Ministry of Defence, said: “I have rarely seen a film that appears to capture two completely separate UFO events. "It's like two for the price of one." It's an amazing shot and a great catch."

Pope, who appears on the popular TV series Ancient Aliens, lives in Tucson. He says the UK and US governments have a similar removal process.

"First, you interview witnesses," Pope said. I know this was caught by a remote camera, but some people in other parts of the US have seen it too. So the first step is to identify and talk to as many people as possible to try to piece together a coherent picture of what happened. The second step is to reach the army. There could be some military activity that could explain the UFO sighting, whether the plane is training or firing missiles. Radar is also very important. A visual sighting confirmed by radar evidence is priceless.

Meteorologist Arden Gregory said these were likely SpaceX Starlink satellites that were visible for several minutes. According to the Planetary Science Institute (PSI), astronomers agree.

"This object moving at a very steady, shallow speed tells me it's probably a satellite," Pope said. The second object is more interesting because it appears to be falling to the ground. Again, with my skeptic hat on, I'd say it's probably a fiery meteorite. I would like to be aliens because that would be the most interesting and fun explanation. Unfortunately, in this case, I don't think that's the answer. But if we're going to make first contact, I'd like to be Tucson!” Around 5:15 a.m., bright objects flew across the sky on the north-facing webcam on the University of Arizona Hydrology and Atmospheric Sciences website.

The lights have reportedly been seen in other states, including Louisiana, and are said to be Elon Musk's SpaceX Starlink satellites.
